If you require urgent medical attention when the surgery is closed please telephone 111. Please have some paper and a pen ready. A doctor is always available but depending on the nature of your concern you may be asked to travel to the local out of hours service provider at either Newark or King's Mill Hospital.
The out of hours service is manned by doctors and nurses and is there for patients who require urgent treatment or advice that cannot wait until the next surgery. If in doubt, always ring 111 for advice.
