Doctor's bag

If you find that you are too ill or incapacitated to attend the surgery, please telephone as soon as possible. You may be asked a few questions about the problem so that the doctors can assess the degree of urgency and plan their rounds to see the more urgent cases first. Please request visits before 11am. This will help ensure your regular doctor will be able to contact you where possible.

House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the surgery.
